No matter what

We won’t be minions

Every step in life

Is an inconvenience

A few searched for life

Now we’re in the billions

Resilience

Yes, we are resilient

Time has no friends

Except the Palestinians

Patience only comes

From your own experience

History is nothing but

The opinion of historians

Democracy is nothing more

Than the dream of an Iranian

Safety is nothing less

Than the prayer of a Syrian

Justice is the name

Of every Armenian

When children misbehave

We always blame the mother

We call our Mother, Earth

Then we kill each other

Our planet is to blame

For winter and for summer

The past will remain,

Abel killed by his brother

We are bound to hit the brakes,

To love one another

To set our course right

To prove we are… resilient

But resilience isn’t loud

It doesn’t scream for praise

It’s the quiet that holds

When the world decays

It’s the strength in each tear

That falls in silence

The heart that still beats

Through all the violence

We won’t stand idle

As history unfolds

Resilience is the truth

That the future holds

We carry it with us

Through the dark and the light

It’s not just survival

It’s the reason we fight

Oh, resilience—

We bear it with grace

A constant reminder

Of the battles we face.
